The pecking order in action and working just fine at Lanilopez.com.

One month in my winter spinach is flourishing. Great winter food from the garden and it grows like a hungry baby!
My Marigolds, planted to deter bugs. They bloomed bright and beautiful all summer. But I didn’t know they’d still be brightening up my day come a cold wet winter. I love my Marigolds.

Metservice says brace for heavy rain and strong winds tonight and tomorrow. But here’s the highlight; “People should steer clear of streams and rivers over the next two days to avoid any flash floods. Larger river flooding could also happen in low-lying areas after prolonged heavy rain over the next 24 to 48 hours in the ranges.”
My Marae, heart of the community and central to my love of community.
Resting place too of inspirational tupuna. A healthy heart is as vital to a community’s health as a healthy heart is to a person.
Give time and take time in your community.
When our lives and heart are attuned to good things, life is clear, the spirit flows freely. Everything is possible.

Visiting China for the first time is inspirational.
A culture with uninterrupted traditions of natural medicine, herbalism and healing. Here’s a tiny peek in a healer’s emporium in Shaanxi Sheng . How I would love to have the language to quiz the owner of these draws on their contents and uses. My first trip to my Grandfather’s homeland, but definitely not my last.
The start of another long road of learning and growth.
