My winter spinach is flourishing but so, I imagine is whatever is devouring it!

One month in my winter spinach is flourishing.  Great winter food from the garden and it grows like a hungry baby!

My Marigolds, planted to deter bugs.  They bloomed bright and beautiful all summer.  But I didn’t know they’d still be brightening up my day come a cold wet winter.  I love my Marigolds.

Metservice says brace for heavy rain and strong winds tonight and tomorrow.  But here’s the highlight; “People should steer clear of streams and rivers over the next two days to avoid any flash floods.  Larger river flooding could also happen in low-lying areas after prolonged heavy rain over the next 24 to 48 hours in the ranges.”

Visiting China for the first time is inspirational.

 A culture with uninterrupted traditions of natural medicine, herbalism and healing.  Here’s a tiny peek in a healer’s emporium in Shaanxi Sheng .  How I would love to have the language to quiz the owner of these draws on their contents and uses.  My first trip to my Grandfather’s homeland, but definitely not my last.
